Pheeeew I made it.. My aim was to post all Christmas cards made this year before the year ends. I had an order of 20 Christmas cards from Malaysia this year. My cousin is a marketing director of ITakios and cards are going out to his most loyal ITakios customers. I was very honoured when he asked if I could make them. These 10 cards are the first ones I made and none of them are the same. I will post the other 10 in my next post. ;-)

Hi! It´s New Year´s eve and I really hope to post all my Christmas post before the new year comes in. These corner bookmarks were made for a competition winning prize at a Christmas dinner party. I was asked to make 15 of them. I had so much fun making them. The red velvet paper I got from Skapa Hobby on sale. I just love these bookmarks and it´s perfect as a gift or give-aways.

Have a lovely New Year´s eve celebration. I will be having a quiet one with the family like we do every year and curl up in front of our firelog and watch the fireworks from the balcony.

I bought this set of decoupage not long ago at a craft exhibition in Stockholm. They´re so cute aren't they? I made this card for the English shop.

As always I had to decorate inside of the card. I stamped a Tatty bear from an angel.

First Christmas card for this year

Hi there crafters and non-crafters.. Happy 1st December!!! Amazing how this year is passing by so swiftly.. thought I would share with you my first Christmas card made for this year ;-) I made this card for the English shop to be delivered next week.. It´s a decoupage bear in the chimney, hand-cut. Isn't he cute? I just fall in love with him the first sight. The paper used here is from the Panduro hobby.

...and this I used the same paper inside of the card ;-)

Anyways, this is a card I made with the Iris-folding technique: I just love these frocks that I made a couple for the English shop. I hosted my first iris-folding course at Sensus and it was very popular so I decided to host it next year too ;-)

Hello people. It´s Father´s day here today in Sweden ;-) I know the fact that many other countries have had Father´s day already. We (my daugter & I), bought some gifts for him from the store yesterday. A hand-made soap, Simpson socks and a shirt. All fathers deserve to be celebrated today ;-) Well, at least here in Scandinavia.

Anyways, I am back with another criss-cross card I made for the English shop. Just love the colour combination. The cake is a die-cut from the Tulip collections.

Hey everyone.. I´m back again.. Phewwww it has been a while I posted last. The days are passing by too fast ;-/ It´s All Saint´s day tomorrow so Friday is just half day for us.. I took the day off instead since I have been hosting cardworkshops in the evenings. So, long weekend, Yay!!!!

This is another criss-cross card which I made for the English shop. Mind you, there are more to come.. I was so inpired so I made a bunch. ;-D

Hi there ppl.. Oohh Sunday again!!! I wish I could update my blog everyday like most of the crafters out there. I have been busy taking care of my little girl who has had fever whole week. She is very lively and active but temperature wise it keeps going up and down. She is looking forward to school tomorrow anyways ;-)

Happy Sunday people! What a lovely morning. The heat wave seems to strike everywhere.. I am not complaining, rather enjoying it to the fullest.. October this time last year was cold with approximately 9 degrees. Yesterday we had 18 degrees.. I had sandals on me yesterday. Hope the weather remains like this for a while ;-)
I am back with another easel card. They seems to be very popular at the English shop where I sell my cards. I need to make a couple more. It is from the Forever Friends decoupage collections. The papers used here is from the same series.

Hi there,, Happy Sunday!!! I am packing away my Summer wardrobe and saying HELLO to Autumn.. So many clothes, so little time ;-) and some days are like so many clothes and still find nothing to wear ;-/ I am back with another card which I made for a colleague who left us for a new job opportunity. It´s just a simple card for a guy. I like how the card turned out as I had only half an hour to make this card as it was getting very late in the night. Hi ya everyone.. Hope you´re having a great Sunday creating to your hearts away.. I sat today and browsed through Mojo challenge and feeling rather inspired, I made both the circle card and the square one. This is how they turned out. The sentiments are from the Inkadinkado - Kid quotes which I got in London when I visited last.I just love them all.

The girl figure with balloons is a clear stamp that came as a freebie with the Papercraft Essentials magazine. Her name is Betty from Funkyhand.

I also made the paper-rose and added a little gem in it and a couple of red buttons ;-)

It's also a great style to use when making masculine cards, especially if you don't have a great image to work with. Patterned paper & a medium to large size sentiment works wonderfully!

Hi! Today I am going to share with you how to make a corner bookmark. I must confess that this is the first time I've ever made one but I wanted to try something new and exciting to share with you. They are so simple to make and look really nice... great for quick gifts too!!

Glass Painting

While in London, I had a taste of glass painting introduced by a friend, Indi. As far as I am concerned I am drown with anything that is created with own hands. So, when I got home, went to Panduro Hobby to get some glass paint, brushes and some peel-off stencils. Got these candle-holder glasses at one of the second hand stores as a bargain. Came home and sat with my daughter and we made a candle-holder each. This is the result :-)

I love butterflies so when I saw these peel-off, I just couldn´t resist.

My daughter, Harjeevan chose these and coloured it. She is very content with it and so am I :-)

......and walla!!! This is how it looks like when lighted. We were both so excited. I am already hooked to it. Am saving and recyling all jam jars now for more glass painting :-) Have a lovely afternoon!

My new magazine

Hiya there!! I am back from vacation actually a week ago... but needed to recover from vacation.. :-)
Had a great one in London... London you may ask? Yes, we came home day after the riot started. We are thankful that we did not get caught up in the riot and the same time am thankful to God for taking care of our loved ones in UK.

Besides that, I have not been in a creative mood at all.. Been too tired, after work, taking care of the chores etc. etc and the next thing you know, it is already past midnight. Anyways, TGIF and this weekend am planning to be creative along with my little princess. Lets see what we come up with. :-)

I just got this magazine at the local newspaper shop. It is completely new from Australia. Can't wait to get home and after dinner just sway away in my own world browsing through this magazine for inspiration. Have a great weekend ye all. God bless!!

Good morning ye all.. I decided to try out this sketch from Mojo.. I just love the sketches by the design teams of Mojo,.So, here you could choose if you would like to make the round or the square. I decided to make both. And you see the results below. ;-)

This dandelion bear is a decoupage you cut out in many pieces and put them all together.

hi there ppl!! my oh my, what a funny weather we are experiencing at the moment.. Rain, sunshine, cloudy, rain again, sunshine... it seems like Mother nature is having several mood swings at one go. Hahaha!!! Anyways, thought I would share a card with you all which I made when I got my new Tulip die cake I bought from Skapa hobby last week. My eyes caught the cake right away and it was a must have item in my wish list. All together there are 16 layers and you just glue them together. I had so much fun with this cake. The flowers in each corners is a punch and I just cut one petal away and glued it together with the next petal and sticked a pearl inside. I am gonna make more cards with this cake that is for sure. Hey, I am back.. Been a little ill lately so I have not been up to making cards. But I had a few cards which I made on one go a couple of weeks ago. I was so inspired that I made a couple of cards on the bump. Here is another attempt on the belly. This particular card won the heart of a friend of mine in Malaysia and she wants to give this card away to her sis-in-law. Let´s see if she is thrilled when she receives it. ;-)

As I said earlier, I have made a few cards on the bump and here is the other one I made. I left it at the English shop yesterday and they were totally amazed and wanted more cards on the bump :-)
I think it is a lovely way to wish congrats to mothers-to-be. I know I would have loved to receive one myself :-D

Hi folks!! Monday again, gosh! Anyways, been home today as my little girl had fever yesterday but she is much better and no fever today.. Glad to be home as I could make some cards. I have got an order from Malaysia; cards on the bump. So, I sat and made some cards and this is one of them. I love how it turned out, love the papers and the black silhouette against the pink papers felt so right.

Hey, I am back with another card by Daisy & Dandelion. I simply love the colours of this card.. I used to love blue once upon a time....well, I still do and since I hardly make any cards with blue, I finally decided to make one. I got this paper from http://www.skapahobby.se/, it is a double sided paper, one side polka dots and the other flowery so it was superb when I wanted to make this card.. I made this card for English shop and Nick, the guy working there liked it so much, he got it for his mom in UK. :-)

Hi peeps, can't believe it is already Friday, am feeling all Fridayliciouss!! I was asked by the English shop if I could make some Mother´s day cards as it is approaching very soon although here in Sweden it is only on the 29th of May. So I made a couple. Iris folding dress

Hi folks!! I am back again with my second attempt on iris folding. I am getting a grip on how fast and easy it is with iris folding. I had so much fun making this wall piece for a friend of mine who turned 40 last weekend. She absolutely loved it and so did I . Christmas cards workshop 2

Hi there. Just want to share some pictures on the workshop I had at Sensus Study Association. There were six of them who joined the workshop and everyone were very inspired and had that Christmas feeling. The workshop was for 2½ hours and they couldn´t stop creating. I made a Christmas kit for them with co-ordinating papers, cardstock, ribbons and flowers as a starter. Look at what they came up with. Enjoy!

Just a simple card made with a free stamp which I got with the Card magazine. I embossed my card with the cuttlebug and some glitter glue on the postbox and some on the girls socks and around her neck.

Hiya!! I am back with another Christmas card. This freebee stamp I used here is from the "Quick cards" magazine which I got last year. I coloured it with pro-markers and used white glitter glue. Some flowers and walla... a Christmas card. I delivered it to the English shop this afternoon along with some other cards which I will upload here soon. I shall now go and pack my stuff for the second Christmas card workshop tomorrow evening at Sensus. Have a nice evening.

I made this card as an inspiration at the workshop. I embossed the card with my cuttlebug first. The christmas socks comes from a A3 paper which I got it from Skapa Hobby. The kit I prepared for them included all the stuff I had on my card. Everyone made their own style.. check out the results below.
